Aquifer Performance Testing

Aquifer Performance Testing (APT) may be required to determine aquifer parameters, such as permeability, storage and leakance for groundwater model calibration. SMW can provide APT design, setup and monitoring services. We also specialize in data reduction and evaluation of local APT results in consideration of regional aquifer controls and responses.

Detailed Water Use Audits

SMW can perform detailed water audits and assist with water use accountability. Detailed water audits are useful to identify where water conservation efforts are needed and the type of conservation plan that would best achieve our client’s water conservation goals.

Detailed water audits can be completed on the entire system, portions of service area or within individual developments. Water audits can include not only the potable water distribution system, but also the wastewater collection and reuse distribution system.
