At SMW GeoSciences, Inc. our focus is water, and we understand the complex issues and details involved in water regulations and conservation.  Following years of regulatory experience with SJRWMD and FDEP, as well as managing groundwater and water supply projects for several Central Florida Consulting firms, Sarah Whitaker established the firm of Sarah M. Whitaker, P.G. as a sole proprietorship in January of 2002.  As the client base grew, provided services and employed staff expanded, and the firm of SMW GeoSciences, Inc. was incorporated in January of 2006.

From the beginning, SMW has partnered with Central Florida municipalities – serving as a counselor and advocate – to offer value beyond the basic services.  Now in its tenth year, SMW GeoSciences, Inc. specializes in providing a diverse array of quality water resource services.  With our experienced staff, we offer guidance and assistance with all aspects of Consumptive/Water Use Permit services, strategic water conservation planning, well design and construction, wetlands monitoring and utility engineering.
